MATERIA PRIMA
CABANON PROJECT
Would like to start by describing what is “materia prima”: material extracted from nature and transformed into materials that will later become consumer goods.
Sometimes that raw material is transformed, but in others it remains in essence, since its quality is so high that it hardly needs to be treated.
The kitchen of Payés is a clear example of a space where nature, comfort and harmony come together to show that primitive side.
The mixture of earth colors with those little touches of color that give you the small details that surround the space, the natural materials used for construction.
ESSENTIAL PERCEPTIONS
LOFT IN BERLIN PROJECT
Uniqueness stems from the synergy between apparent contradictions. Our essence is not something that one can decipher by simple sight. The intention of this project is to approach the design of a Loft space through the exploration of essence and perception: two contradictions that work in synergy to create our identity. Essential Perceptions explores the contrast and confrontation of what you see and what lays inside, highlighting how they are available to coexist in harmony to create something rich and special.
The loft incorporates art-furniture, unique materials that appear to be different to what they truly are, and the distinct personalities of three very different individuals to propose a space that is both confronting and soothing. The space is used in such a way that the public areas serve as forums for conversation, while the private areas invite introspection and reflection.
AMERICAN INVASION
MOSCHINO STORE PROJECT
Humorous, extravagant, and uniquely in sync with pop culture, Jeremy Scott work at Moschino has revived Franco Moschino’s vision through an American lens and adapted it to today’s zeitgeist. His collections often embrace and reference the entertainment-crazed, consumerist culture of America, thus managing to simultaneously celebrate and critique it. By doing so, Jeremy Scott fulfills Moschino’s vision of a unique brand that prioritizes the message above all else.
The intent of this store is to contribute to Jeremy Scott’s construction of Moschino today. The concept integrates several aspects of American consumption and “trashy” culture, from the ad-inspired pop art of the 60s to references of Las Vegas and game shows such as The Price is Right. We integrated Moschino’s iconic theatricality through the creation of different scenes of consumption, showcasing the products in fun settings and ironic situations.
XUBEC
POP UP PROJECT
The idea of transforming a brand and turning it into something that they never thought could be achieved is an achievement.
This new collection of Bonjour, the island's handmade brand that manufactures unique ceramic pieces, has decided to expand more and explore new ideas, new concepts and new customers.
This new collection, more fun and colorful, is based on a selection of colors according to what each island is and means.
Each piece, through its history, will lead the client to discover much more about the archipelago, thus creating an experience of sensations, aromas, smells and colors.
Mallorca being yellow and lime green represents the freshness and acidity of its elegance and style.
Menorca being orange and green, sunset colors and characteristic fauna.
Ibiza with its majenta and purple represents the most rebel and bohemian part of the island.
Formentera, the paradise of the crystalline blue sea and its toasted sand channels history and culture.
